அமெரிக்காவில் வாழும் இந்தியர்களைப் பற்றிய தவறான பிம்பத்தை இந்தக் கதை பிரதிபலிக்கிறது என்பதை, 20 வருடங்களுக்கும் மேலாக அமெரிக்காவில் வாழும் என்னைப் போன்ற எண்ணற்ற தென்றல் வாசகர்கள் அறிவர்.

I always like Ms. Chihra Vaitheeswaran's counseling. This one is the best especially she tried to make that young lady understand the difference between tradition and narrow mindedness. Even today in the not modernized Tamil Nadu villages, young widows are being arranged in marriage to young widowers or divorcees by their parents.Villages are the live examples for our true culture, tradition and broad mindedness. Only we are confuesd. Of course we are modern age people.
